On 27th November, DAC Planning won the RTPI Excellence in Digital Planning Practice award at the national Awards for Planning Excellence ceremony in London! 🎉
We're absolutely delighted and incredibly proud of the team.
The award recognised our work with the PAS and Local Government Association on creating a digital training course for the Pathways To Planning programme. The course helps new graduates entering the profession gain a solid understanding of the planning system so they can hit the ground running in their new roles.
What made this project special was the opportunity to combine our deep understanding of the planning system with the latest digital learning technology to create something genuinely engaging and effective. It's not just about transferring information - it's about making complex planning concepts accessible and relevant for people at the start of their careers.
Huge thanks to Gemma Hunt for all your hard work, dedication and expertise in making this possible. Thanks to Vicki Willis for leading this project through to such a successful conclusion. Thanks to Shelly Rouse at PAS and Anna Buttenshaw at the Local Government Association who were brilliant to work with as the client leads.
This win means a lot to us because it highlights what we're passionate about - using innovation and technology to support capacity building and learning in the planning sector. And the good news is that we're now rolling out this approach more widely through The Planning Academy, where we're offering expert-led training courses that use the same engaging digital methodology.
If you're looking for training that's practical, accessible and built by people who really understand planning, take a look at what we're offering:
