Basildon Neighbourhood Planning Support
Basildon Borough Council commissioned DAC Planning to review ongoing neighbourhood planning work and provide support on the production of a Neighbourhood Development Order (NDO) in Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet.
Scope
NDO Production
We are guiding the production of NDOs to ensure their consistency with the Borough Council's aims and objectives for the area. On behalf of the Borough Council, we are working with Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet Parish Council and their consultants to support the production and progression of the NDO towards Regulation 21 consultation.
Workshop
We delivered an online workshop for parish and town councils on neighbourhood planning.
Outcomes
We continue to provide NDO and neighbourhood planning support as needed for parish and town councils in Basildon Borough Council.
