DAC Planning was commissioned by Essex County Council on behalf of the Essex Garden Communities Group in 2023 to carry out a study on emerging stewardship arrangements at the planned Garden Communities throughout Essex County.

Scope

Baseline

Establish a baseline position of stewardship at each of the Garden Communities in Essex.

Engagement

Engage with lead officers across the Garden Communities.

Policy and Guidance

Review relevant policy and guidance nationally and across the Garden Communities.

Recommendations

Provide recommendations to assist in advancing stewardship arrangements.

Outcomes

We produced a report on the findings. The interim results were presented to the Essex Garden Communities Group.
